Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Your PDF is opened and converted entirely in your browser. It is never uploaded to our servers.

Should I choose JPG or PNG?

JPG makes smaller files and suits photos and scanned pages. PNG is lossless, so text and line art stay perfectly sharp, but files are larger.

What DPI should I use?

150 DPI is a good balance for most uses. Choose 72 or 96 DPI for on-screen use and smaller files, or 200–300 DPI for printing and fine detail. Higher DPI takes longer and creates larger files.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Tap pages to select or unselect them, or type a list such as 1-3, 5, 8-10. Only the selected pages are converted.

How do I get several pages at once?

When more than one page is selected, the images are packed into a single ZIP file, named page-001.jpg, page-002.jpg and so on.

Is there a file size limit?

You can convert one PDF of up to 50 MB at a time. Password-protected PDFs need their password removed first.
